What's Changing in Spokenote's Terms of Service?

Spokenote's updated Terms of Service clarify subscription renewals, pricing updates, SMS messaging preferences, and account cancellation policies. No action is required unless you'd like to manage your subscription or communication preferences.

We've updated our Terms of Service to make a few important areas clearer and easier to understand. Nothing scary—we just want everyone to know how things work and avoid surprises down the road.

Here are the highlights:

Subscription Renewals

Your Spokenote subscription will automatically renew at the end of your current term.

If you don't plan to renew, simply let us know at least 60 days before your renewal date. You can manage this through your account settings or by contacting us at support@spokenote.com.

Pricing & Fee Changes

If pricing ever changes, we won't spring it on you unexpectedly.

Any fee adjustments will take effect at the start of your next renewal term, and we'll provide reasonable advance notice so you have plenty of time to review your options.

SMS & Text Messaging Updates

We've added information about our SMS/MMS messaging program.

If you choose to opt in, you may receive:

  • Product updates
  • Service notifications
  • Account-related messages
  • Helpful reminders

Not interested anymore? No problem. Reply STOP at any time to opt out.

Account Cancellations & Refunds

We've clarified how account cancellations work.

If you decide to close your account:

  • Your subscription will remain active through the end of your current paid term.
  • Prepaid subscription fees are non-refundable.
  • Your account will not renew after the current term expires.

What Do I Need to Do?

Nothing! By continuing to use Spokenote after May 29, 2026, you're agreeing to the updated Terms of Service.
