My video won't play, or the page says it doesn't exist
If a previously working Spokenote video shows an error, a black screen, or endless buffering, your video is not lost. Here's what to try and how to reach us.
If a Spokenote video that used to work suddenly shows an error like "this page doesn't exist," a black screen, or endless buffering, don't panic. Your video is not lost.
First, try these quick steps:
- Rescan the sticker using your phone's built-in camera (skip third-party QR apps).
- Check your internet connection, or switch between WiFi and cellular.
- Try a different device, or open the page in a computer browser.
If it still won't play: errors like "page doesn't exist" or a black screen on a previously working video are usually a temporary issue on our end, not a problem with your video. When this happens, our development team resolves it and access comes back, with your video intact.
Let us know so we can check. Email support@spokenote.com with a photo of the QR code (one photo showing several stickers is fine) or the page URL, and we'll check the page from our side. We'll confirm whether it's a known issue and follow up when it's fixed.
